Since the founding of Turning Point Consulting almost four years ago, one of our focuses has been helping clients select and deploy best-fit technology to support their business objectives. Our client projects encompassed numerous ERP solutions and other critical Enterprise Business Systems to drive their success. ERP solutions selected in these projects included NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Deltek, and Epicor. We also helped clients enhance and upgrade Infor Syteline, Dynamics GP, Dynamics AX, and many other ERP Solutions. However, we took a big step recently when we decided to sign up for NetSuite’s Solution Provider Program.
Honestly, I struggled with the decision to become a partner with any ERP provider. My concern stemmed from client perceptions of biased advice with our Business Advisory Practice should we ever partner with a systems provider.
It is essential to our clients that we provide independent and impartial advice regarding their business operations and technology. We did not want our clients and prospective clients concerned about putting our independent advice aside to focus on particular products versus the best fit for them. However, after discussions with NetSuite, we believe this partnership does not impair our independence and impartiality. It also offers an expanded portfolio of Turning Point services for those clients who choose NetSuite as their best fit solution.
Business Advisory Practice and Independent System Selections
We will always conduct independent and impartial system selection processes and advise our clients through the requirements, demonstrations, and scoring to find the solutions and integration partners that best fit their business needs. This has been and remains a core principle of our business and a commitment we make to all clients. Client selection projects will be separate from our Enterprise Systems projects. For those occasions when NetSuite makes the shortlist of options considered, and the client chooses Turning Point as the NetSuite integration provider, our Enterprise Systems team will present the NetSuite solution along with NetSuite just like any other vendor. The NetSuite solution will not have any advantage over the other vendors. NetSuite must win on their merits to ensure our clients select the best-fit solution for their business requirements.
Enterprise System Implementations
Since our founding, we have assisted clients with Enterprise System implementations, including ERP. We have provided project management, roadmaps, system architecture, data migration, upgrades, and process mapping services on numerous projects, working alongside many vendors. We have also been engaged to recover failed system implementations. We will continue to provide these same services as before. Our partnership with NetSuite does not change this. We can offer broader implementation services for NetSuite customers. We can provide additional functional implementation and technical integration services through the NetSuite Solutions Provider Partnership. For clients, the benefit of working with a single NetSuite provider for implementations will save them both money and time.
Our partnership with NetSuite creates a new service offering, NetSuite lifecycle support. In the past, we introduced other solutions partners to assist clients with NetSuite lifecycle support, providing both technical and functional expertise. Now, we offer that. Being familiar with our clients’ business and systems solutions, we are now ideally suited to offer NetSuite lifecycle support to our clients as well.
We are excited about joining the NetSuite Solution Provider program. We are still firmly committed to the independence and impartiality of our Business Advisory Practice. The NetSuite Solution Provider Partnership brings many benefits to our NetSuite clients and prospects. While considering options in becoming a full solutions provider, we liked NetSuite’s complete, cloud-based solution that has been an excellent fit for many of our clients. We also find NetSuite often shortlisted when clients go through the ERP and PSA selection process.
